Bethany is a native of Battle Creek, graduating from Lakeview High School in 2001. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health science at Grand Valley State University, where she also moved on to earn her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. She is a long time member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Since joining the Family Surgical team in 2008, she has been heavily involved in every step of varicose vein and spider vein treatment. She enjoys educating patients about venous disease and the best treatment options that are available to them. She strives to make each and every patient happy with their outcomes and tries to make their experience while in the office as enjoyable as possible. She assists in the ablation procedures, and will be your provider for sclerotherapy to treat your remaining varicose and spider veins. She annually attends national meetings of the Venous Symposium and the International Vein Conference to stay up to date on vein care and is a member of the American College of Phlebology.
Bethany is also the office’s CoolSculpting® and Ultherapy® Team Leader. She is also trained to assist in Cellfina™. She will see you in consultation to discuss these non-invasive procedures and come up with the best treatment plan for you. She does everything possible to make you comfortable the day of your treatment, and her ultimate goal is patient satisfaction. She loves seeing the physical transformations that take place after these treatments and loves bringing a smile to people’s faces when they get to see their before and after results.
Outside of work, Bethany spends time with her husband, two daughters, and one son. She enjoys volunteering on the medical team at her church, and being involved in her hometown community. She takes pride in being from Battle Creek and is excited to be raising her three children in the same great place she grew up.
